HIIT Cardio Burns Fat Faster!

Okay… if it seems I’m beating a dead horse by pushing HIIT workouts, YOU’RE RIGHT!

As you all probably know, I hit the gym regularly. But when I started working out, I had no idea what I was doing. I thought in order to lose weight, I had to spend an hour at the gym daily doing cardio. Like many exercise newbies, I gravitated toward the least complicated machines in the gym— the elliptical & treadmill.

Now there’s nothing inherently wrong with either machine, but it’s the way most people use them that’s the issue. You get on it, put on your headphones, and catch up on your favorite TV shows while you take a leisurely trip on the machine. While it may be better than sitting on your ass, it’s a hugely inefficient and ineffective way to exercise.

Take 100 people and put them in a gym with 100 treadmills and 100 elliptical machines.

Tell them they have to exercise for 30 minutes at a hard pace, and they have the choice to use either the treadmill or the elliptical.

Guess where 90% of folks are going?

The elliptical!

Why?

Because it is human nature to take the EASY WAY out. And that is why elliptical machines are so busy at the gym and you rarely see anyone doing interval workouts on a treadmill or bodyweight circuits in the corner of the gym.

Often I see folks using the elliptical machine only to say they “worked out”, but without getting any REAL work done. So if you are stuck at a fat loss plateau, and you’ve been counting on the elliptical machine to help you out, forget it!

𝗧𝗥𝗬 𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗦!!

If you’re gonna take the time to go to the gym, you may as well make it worth your time. The benefit of HIIT workouts is that you’ll get the biggest bang for your buck (so to speak). You don’t need to spend an hour on the elliptical or jogging on the treadmill to lose weight and shed that layer of fluff. Just 20 to 30 intense minutes of HIIT two or three days a week will provide exciting, efficient, and exhausting workouts that can double your body’s fat burning ability.
