Omega-3 Smoothie Recipe!!
We all need to strive for more omega-3 fats in our diets. This smoothie will provide a great amount of ALA omega-3. While ALA is not the most valuable of the omega-3 acids (EPA & DHA from fatty fish being the most valuable), this is certainly a great alternative and it’s rich in nutrients.
𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗜𝗭𝗘- 𝟭 (𝟭𝟲 𝗼𝘇)
8 oz of Hemp Milk (or Soy Milk)
1 cup fresh spinach
1/3 cup of cooked oats (cooled) or overnight oats
1 Tbsp Omega 3 JIF Peanut Butter
1 Tbsp chopped walnuts
1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Saturated fat: 3g
Trans fat: 0g
