STRAWBERRY BANANA SMOOTHIE

This is one of my favorite smoothies. The oatmeal, protein powder, and SunButter give this a really nice creamy texture. This smoothie provides approximately 31 grams of protein if using a protein powder, or about 10 grams of protein without. 

 

INGREDIENTS 

 

1 banana, frozen 

1 cup strawberries, frozen 

2 tablespoons rolled oatmeal 

2 scoops protein powder (or 1/4 cup) 

1 tablespoon SunButter Sunflower Butter 

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

 

If using fresh (non-frozen) fruit, add a handful of ice cubes. Blend all ingredients until smooth. Drink😋 

 

You can use whatever protein powder you’d like but I like Orgain Organic Protein Powder- natural unsweetened.

 

NOTE: 

Using a protein powder is not required for this recipe but if the smoothie is your entire meal, I’d recommend using a protein powder. 

 

NOTE #2: 

If you’re using our product, More Than Beets, add half a scoop to this smoothie for a delicious antioxidant rich Nitric Oxide energy boost (a full scoop may interfere with the natural flavor of the strawberry & banana).
